Inspire Me Into Personal Accountability And Action

What does it really me for you to inspire me into action? Can you even really do that? We can all glance around and come up with all kinds of things we would like to do, want to accomplish, or would be happy to fix, and yet few of us really buckle down and do it. Is it a lack of inspiration? Motivations come directly from inspirations, large or small, and bring us to the end result of action or inaction. Whether it’s religiously oriented or otherwise derived, the need for inspiring others is now greater than ever.

There has been some chatter lately about political inspiration. Some are uncomfortable with the idea that any politician should be inspiring others to do good works. This discomfort is a little confusing considering that all great leaders of the world do many different jobs, including inspiring people into a movement. Sometimes poor leaders have been able to inspire people into a movement, hence the growth of Nazism. The gift of inspiration is a natural part of leadership.

Since inspiration is truly a great motivator, it is really needed much more than we offer it. Whether we are in politics, a position of power, or are more inclined to spend a great deal of time alone. We all have the power to be an inspiration for someone. You can inspire me, and then I can turn around and be the spark for someone else. It’s all relative and it’s all necessary.

When we are motivated to make changes, whether in ourselves or worldwide, we are able to do great things. As a human race we tend not to participate in much if we are not motivated to do something.

When we want to be accountable to our financial responsibilities we are motivated to go to work even if we do not enjoy it. Yet when we are truly inspired to reach a level of success that we feel is within our reach, we work with a goal and a vision. We work harder or longer in order to reach it.

When we are truly inspired we are seriously motivated. It doesn’t matter whether it comes from a political angle, a personal angle, or a religious angle. Motivation is created from inspiration which can then lead to action. The unique aspect is that this is one quality that we all share. We all have the ability to use our power of inspiration for good or for bad. Ultimately, the final choice of action is an individual choice, but we do nothing without the motivation to do so.

While it might make sense on a personal level that we have all this inspiration inside of us, when we look around at the world it can seem like nobody is all that motivated to make changes. We still live in a world of hunger, financial difficulties, homelessness, and violence. If we are all looking to make all of these inspirational changes, where is the change?

You may very well inspire me to make personal changes, political changes, or employment changes. My motivation is not likely to be the same as the motivation of others. It is easy to talk and plan in order to drive our level of inspired acts, but often the inability to agree prevents action. We tend to want group approval or we want to know that we are not going too far against the grain. The whole world can’t come together and agree, so we divide into groups that work on their individual passions. Moving inspiration into action requires a desire to be personally accountable.
